The Australasian Tunnelling Society (ATS) is a technical society that aims to advance the knowledge of the Australasian Tunnelling Industry through areas of design, construction and utilisation of underground space, including technical aspects, health and safety, and ecologically sustainable development. The ATS is jointly sponsored by Engineers Australia (EA) and the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Brisbane's Clem 7 tunnel to open in March PDF Print E-mail

Brisbane's new CLEM7 tunnel is expected to open to traffic in the first week of next month. The Brisbane City Council says the 6.8 kilometre cross-river tunnel was originally scheduled to open in October.
Brisbane residents will be able to walk through the tunnel at a public open day at the end of this month.
