An ATS presentation on construction of cross passages by artificial ground freezing organised by the Western Australian division was very well received on Wednesday night.

More than 110 people viewed the talk online, with a further 20 attending in-person at the Public Transport Centre in East Perth.

Manuel Ramirez, Project Manager at the Public Transport Association of Western Australia, shared his expertise and Western Australian Acting Chair Jiang Aizezi said his presentation was extremely informative.

“It was a great presentation from Manual providing very detailed information of the successful implementation of the ground freezing technique used for tunnel cross-passage construction,” he said.

“It was good to see people face-to-face and network before and after the event, and we were blown away by the number of online attendees. I hope everyone enjoyed the presentation and I’m looking forward to the upcoming sessions ATS has to offer.”
